ETHNEY was adapted from the irish-celtic name of Ethne. My parents first heard this name in a recent movie and fell in love with it. We went with the more north american spelling to make the name more pronouncable from paper. The Irish name of Ethne means "Fire". (The Movie was Four Feathers for the movie buffs in the crowd)
The name is quite unique and for instance only shows about 150 hits when you google it. Ethney.com is even still available which cannot be said for many first names.
FLORA is from Jill's grandmother Flora Anderson, who lives here in Calgary and has always been extremely close to Jill.

Cheyenne and Kima have grown accustomed to her around the house now. They love to give her licks on her feet and hands as there are always new smells and tastes. They seem very cautious and so far we are very happy with how they treat her. Kima has been not to let out long howls in sympathy when Ethney is upset.
They are slowly getting trained. I give them one good sleep of about 6 - 8 hours starting around 9pm , then make my way to around 7:00 am with one stop and a little fussing.
I can reach for items of interest and get a good grip on anything in my reach
I love to stand up on my own legs to look arouhd, but need lots of help balancing
I am eating Carrots and Peas and getting new foods each week
I smile lots for my Mommy and Daddy, and will giggle if you tickle me sometimes.
I make lots of sounds but nobody else seems to understand me yet
Just because I have a web-site does not mean I am as much of a geek as my dad is. I do not intend to start programming for several months as least I am too busy cuddling with my mommy.
